The overall percentage of people wake up and get ready to carry out the same monotonous routine day in and day out. They don't strive for more. They don't have big dreams and gutsy ambitions. They don't hold high expectations for themselves and their worldly impact. Odds are, they won't upgrade to higher levels of existing and fulfillment either.
They're not going to understand you, or even register what it is you believe, understand and call attention to. Until they do, later on down the line.
Do the hard shit now and you will be living so much better than others who chose not to later in life.

It is up to you to choose to be different and make the difference you wish to see in the world, to be the change you wish to see. Even if others think your ideas are no good. It will pay off in the future, and you will have people understand exactly what you observed and pinpointed early on. They may return back to your ideas and your knowledge and wisdom you have to offer, or they may remain stagnant living in one timeline as one single version of themselves. Either way, you are better off. It does not matter what people think because people hate regardless of what you do or who you seem to be. To be the unapologetic, unfiltered you you were meant to be because I guarantee you are ahead of the “game” compared to others once you make that decision and stick with it. Others will choose the easy route to follow crowds or what’s already known, not testing outside their own boundaries and personal beliefs. Widening their lens, unlocking new areas of their brain, and opening doors of mystery to the unknown is the way to lead the collective. It may be painful at first but choosing to see the world from a lens only you can bring after exploration takes strength and willpower. To take risks and find information and abstract connections through experience and attentional awareness to share with others once you've finalized your philosophy, your story, or simply, your truth. It takes consistency, passion, and discipline to lead a happier, healthier, more meaningful life where you can make an impact and enjoy doing it as your life’s mission or purpose, the highest form of wealth. Those who choose to miss out on these opportunities will suffer for it. You are the one who truly benefits despite physical reality and what your status may seem to be as of now. I promise.
Maybe you have a specific skill you've acquired and mastered over the years, so you can provide value in other's lives by instructing/teaching them that skill or doing the task for them. It could be a rare skill in which not many others have in their toolkit.
If you are an artist, or a free-thinker (FREEK), then you may be ridiculed, mocked, slandered, or severely misunderstood and isolated from the tribe, the group, the collective, what have you. I know because I lived this for three years. Even those who claim to be your family and friends (which you may choose to stop interacting with, good for you!) may mistreat you, abandon, isolate you, gaslight, or spread lies/rumors because your chosen path is exceptionally "off the beaten path" and highly Younique to you. You find what you seek, you reap what you sew, and you improve in the areas you focus time and energy on.
There are dozens if not hundreds of renowned historical figures who were outcasted, misunderstood and socially and politically punished for their works and achievements. Joan of Arc was the only young woman of her time during the French Revolution to lead an army in the city of Orléans to victory. Soon after, her incredible bravery and honor was dismissed and she was accused of witchcraft, where her last moment were flamed at the stake. Because she was so radically different to what was accepted during the 15th century, it costed her her life. Six centuries later, she is remembered and revered in history as one of the most noble-achieving women in all of recorded time. Galileo is another heavily recognized individual, aiding our understanding of our solar system with the Earth's relation to the sun, he discovered and shared with his fellow humans that Earth indeed revolved around the sun, causing dismay or even terror in the widespread beliefs about human importance. When people had to accept that his theories tested that humans were not the center of the Universe/solar system, means they had a blow to their egos. Galileo was condemned for many centuries because of his findings.
Standing for what we believe in and demanding change is a scary endeavor and can lead to nonreversible consequences, however, there has to be people to fight for these advancements among peoples, cities/communities, or nations. For example, Muslim girls and women are fighting for their rights and freedoms to express, mobility, and to be valued in their societies as equal to their male counterparts while Westernized countries know these are Universal birthrights to every human (Aliens). Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani schoolgirl who fought to resist the Taliban's denial of female rights to education, as they felt it was an insult to the traditional Islamic word. She was shot by a member of the Taliban, and thankfully survived to become a noble women's advocate. Had she been born 20 years earlier and attempted this, her fate would have been much more devastating. Improvement is not linear and does not spread evenly across the globe in a given time period. It could take decades or centuries for progress to catch up all around the world.
The point is that those who choose to take the more challenging path, to bring back valuable treasure in the form of art, thoughts, revolutionary acts, deeds, inventions or genius ideas, they will be ostracized by communities and entities, as they feel threatened by their current way of life. Deep down they know this person is doing the right thing, bringing forth their own Younique contribution for the world, being that waymaker, that frontierer needed for the time period, where there is a missing piece on Earth that only they could fill. Your soul chose you, then it chose this utmost satisfactory journey for only you to undertake. You can already sense the reward, no matter how long it takes. Whether it happens tomorrow or when you're in your 70s or even after life, you will have the greatest gift left of all. And that is a risk I'm willing to take. How about you?
