(ED)Don’t be too Receptive, People Will Dump Sh*t on You if You Can’t Read Them Well [Check]

We know we would like to be more in the state of letting it flow, receiving the blessings and gifts of life. Allowing freedom and good vibrations come our way, so long as we are happy with what we have now. But how receptive should one be? Sometimes we may be leaving our doors open to strangers with nothing but ill-intent who can leave us to make mistakes or in a state of confusion.

Women in particular struggle with this concept. Trained only to be subservient and obedient to those around them, especially male figures.

To hold our tongue so as not to offend or upset someone. To hold back our truths, our concerns, our opinions. Well, sometimes we can’t cling onto this role anymore and must break free to save ourselves or someone around us.

Women who are more submissive and too receptive have a higher unplanned preganancy rate, become stay-at-home mothers, and serve the lives around them. I know millions of women are very happy in these roles, as they should be, as long as it is really their choice. If they weren’t just following a pre-laid path for them, it’s perfectly fine. You can live a life as a full-time mother, wife, home-manager, ensuring the order of the coveted family life.

Now, please do be receptive to the positive messages from other’s stories, your own self-pep talks and thoughts, the universe’s love and wisdom guiding you. We can afford to be selective with what we let come into our lives. Receive the wonder and beauty around us at almost any given moment. If you cannot find it, look harder or elsewhere. You will find a time when you can receive all the love and awe of life and its many forms, I reject bullish*t from negative people and sources.
